Apology Note

My dearest blog,

I'm sorry I've been so busy lately. I haven't been particularly good at keeping you updated, and that's all my fault. It was nice of you to tell Calee to text me, saying you missed me. I've missed you too, blog. I've missed you too.

All the puppy talk is probably getting to you, isn't it? I thought I would come interfere before you exploded from another adorable photo of a puppy-private-part on Cory's face. Haha! I was going to say more, but I'll just leave it at that.

I think a reason I've been a little MIA lately is that my life is a smidge too complicated to be blogging about. I know - lame excuse, isn't it? Just when all the dirt comes along, I get a little shy about sharing.

I don't really have time at the moment to divulge everything, but here's the readers digest version. Ready?

Jan came back. Yep. It's the truth. Nope, I'm not talking about the first time. Yep, he came back again, a second time. Confusing? Yes. Are we dating? No. Do I see him? Yes. What does that mean? I have no idea.

I've been facebook fighting with my british boyfriend. It sucks. Although I do feel super mature having 'facebook fighting' as a totally normal way to describe my relationship.

The GMAT went well, but not as well as I had hoped. By 30 points, actually. So I'm taking it again because I'm too stubborn to just accept a score that's lower than my goal. I'm only applying to a few schools this year, the main one being Oxford. And I'm dead serious about it. I really, genuinely hope I get in.

My job is awesome. I'm really happy with it. I've been busy in a good, normal, happy way. What a relief! I know things are weird in my life right now, but when are they not? I feel like I have a little piece of normalcy right now that I haven't had in a long time, and I'm taking it for what it's worth.

I have a lot more to say, especially since it's been so long. I'm sorry. It will have to wait until next time.

Thanks for not being too mad, blog. It was nice to visit again. I love that we can not see each other for a while and still talk like old times.

Brooke's awesome note to her roommates upon finding her granola bars were gone. I went into her apartment when she wasn't home to drop off a crock-pot present (random) and saw it on the counter and laughed and laughed.
