It goes a little something like this: Make it virtually impossible for anyone to get it at the discounted rate, frustrate them with long hold waits, underinformed customer service representatives, and conflicting policies. With any luck, anyone trying to purchase it will just get irritated enough to purchase it at the retail rate! Weee!
